Coaching Philosophy


​     Chris is a lawyer's lawyer. Partnering with you as your advocate and personal champion, she collaborates through active listening upon a basis of respect, authenticity, and compassion. She draws on proven psychological instruments, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and CPI 260 Coaching Report for Leaders, to help you understand your strengths and impact as a leader. Together, you will evaluate opportunities to thrive professionally and accelerate your progress toward your goals, developing your leadership potential and taking your career to the next level.


Executive Leadership Experience 


     Chris brings to coaching a depth and breadth of executive in-house legal and business experience that is unique in the field, having successfully served in multiple senior level in-house roles and participated on numerous senior leadership teams. Her experience includes serving as Vice President and Division General Counsel to Bausch & Lomb’s Surgical Division; Special Counsel and Senior Leadership team member to DaVita Rx; Senior Counsel and senior leadership team member to Baxter International’s BioScience Division; Assistant Corporate Secretary and Senior Counsel to Brunswick Corporation and Assistant Regional Director of the SEC's Enforcement Division.


Business and Regulatory Experience


     Chris has extensive M&A experience, having served as the senior legal team member responsible for the negotiation, due diligence, drafting and closing of transactions that include public and private company acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, licensing and partnerships.
     Chris has extensive experience working with regulated entities, including over fifteen years of experience working in the life science and healthcare industries, with a focus on medical device and biotech. Her securities regulation experience includes serving as an Assistant Regional Director of the SEC’s Enforcement Division. 
     Chris is financially literate, having obtained an undergraduate degree in accountancy and her CPA. She is also an alumnus of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Finance for Executives Program.

Coaching Certifications

 

     Chris is certified as an executive coach and received her training from the College of Executive Coaching. She is certified to administer and interpret psychological instruments to help leaders understand their strengths and impact, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the CPI 260 Coaching Report for Leaders. As a continual learner, Chris is working towards her International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification.  


Chris is a member of the California and Illinois bar.
